Camp Cha-La-Kee Information

Camp Camp Cha-la-Kee has provided the finest camping experience for generations of campers since 1957. Located on the banks of the Tennessee River at Lake Guntersville, Camp Cha-La-Kee offers an unparalleled camping experience ideal for your Group.

Throughout the year, campers of all ages enjoy programs that foster personal growth, creativity and self-confidence to help build healthy spirit, mind, and body by emphasizing the Christian principles and values upon which the YMCA was founded. Camp Cha-La-Kee offers traditional summer, resident camping for children ages 7-17 as well as Fall and Spring weekends for your camping opportunities.

Summer Camp Registration is in full swing. Do you know of a 7 – 17 year-old who is looking for something to do during the summer? How about a week at camp? Summer camp at YMCA Camp Cha-La-Kee is not just 7 days of sitting in the wilderness. NO; it’s much more!! It’s a week filled with water skiing, horseback riding, friends, fun, and food, but most importantly it’s “an adventure that lasts a lifetime”.
