2008 Annual Giving Campaign
SUCCESS – the 2008 campaign officially ended on
May 15, 2008 and finished with over $115,000 (goal was
$110,000). As the clean up continues it is projected
we may reach $120,000 – It is never too late to support
the YMCA kids and the Charitable Mission “to ensure no one is turned away from YMCA programs or services because they cannot afford to pay a fee.”
Thanks to all the volunteers
and donors who made this success a
reality….Special thanks to Lee Adcox, Brett
Crain and Terry Cagle for their leadership

Your tax-deductible donation will help make a difference in the lives of children and families throughout your community. In 2007, the Heart of the Valley YMCA provided more than $414,000 in financial assistance, enabling disadvantaged youth, adults and seniors to grow in spirit, mind and body through YMCA programs and services.
The majority of that funding ($236,000) provided scholarships to our Northwest Preschool, allowing low-income, mostly single-parent families to put their children in a positive, safe and loving environment while they went to work to provide for their families. The remaining scholarships were applied to Southeast Preschool, After School Care, Summer Day Camp, Camp Cha-La-Kee, Youth Sports, Swim Lessons, and even YMCA memberships.
