Put More In, Get More Kid Out!

At Healthy Kids Day, the YMCA is helping bring families and kids together to have fun, be active, learn more, and create lasting, healthy habits for the entire family. Learn about Children’s Summer Programs to keep them engaged in active play and learning all summer long!

Since we are a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility, we hold Healthy Kids Day annually to teach healthy habits and inspire a lifetime love of physical activity through active play.

As part of this initiative, the YMCA – along with hundreds of thousands of parents and kids nationwide – is taking on summer by addressing critical gaps in health and education that cause kids to be at risk for childhood obesity and suffer summer learning loss.
