THE FUTURE LOOKS BRIGHT BUT WE CAN'T DO IT WITHOUT YOU!!!
The charitable Mission of the YMCA is to never turn anyone away because they cannot pay a fee. Our vision is to build strong kids, strong families and strong communities. The Mission of the YMCA is to put Christian principles into practice trough programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all.
The Heart of the Valley YMCA serves a five county area that included Madison, Marshall, Morgan, Jackson and Limestone Counties.
To fulfill our vision YMCA facilities need to be built to provide space, program services and membership opportunities to communities within our service area.
To fulfill our mission, we hope to make sure that everyone who needs affordable childcare and other YMCA services in our area has the opportunity to receive them.
To fulfill our Charitable Mission membership needs to grow to provide the financial foundation and potential donor base to provide the funds to ensure no one is turned away….
To do this we must have the support of the community. You can help by investing in the YMCA capital campaign and Annual Support Campaign.
WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN……
We plan on breaking ground on the Craig and Steven Hogan Family Center YMCA in sometime mid to late August 2008. Our goal of $6,000,000 is very close to reality as we are at $5,015,000. In addition the volunteers have taken on the challenge of raising an additional $1,500,000 to insure the YMCA has a 50 meter pool for the community competitive and learn to swim programs.
Your gift, along with the gifts of others will make a real and lasting difference to the youth and families of the Heart of the Valley.
Our success will be reached by equal sacrifices not equal gifts
We offer a variety of ways that you can support the Hogan YMCA:
- A one time donation
- A financial contribution that is billed to you monthly, quarterly or yearly
- A financial commitment (pledge) toward the campaign with payments spread over 3 - 5 years.
There are still naming gift opportunities available and your gift of at least $10,000 will reserve your spot on the donor recognition wall.

- IMPROVED CURRENT FACILITIES/DEVELOP NEW FACILITIES - The YMCA will emphasize improvement to the quality of existing facilities, services and leadership while continuing program expansion to outlying, underserved parts of our community.

- SUBSIDIZED CHILD CARE – The YMCA is committed to expanding its ability to provide financial assistance to economically- disadvantaged family who need affordable child care services.

- ANNUAL SUPPORT CAMPAIGN - To increase Annual Support to a level that allows us to fully fund child care services and eliminate need for United Way funding – approximate need $180,000 annually…raised $110,00 in 07-08.
SUB-GOALS
