Camellia Pride, 5, shows off a mini-bike up for bids during the Charity Auto Auction on June 25 at Dealers Auto Auction of Huntsville. More than $100,000 was raised for Heart of the Valley YMCA Early Childhood Education and Best Buddies.

The Heart of the Valley YMCA Early Childhood Education Program had an amazing week, thanks to the hard work and commitment of our partners Landers McLarty SubaruFrank Williams, and Dealers Auto Auction of Huntsville. Beginning with the 15th annual Charity Benefit Concert on June 22, Roger Fields, General Manager of Dealers Auto Auction of Huntsville put together a lineup of country and gospel stars, food trucks and an array of interesting auction items including autographed guitars to entertain a crowd on the auction grounds. General Managers from the other seven Dealers Auto Auctions in the southeast as well as David Andrews, CEO, were in attendance as a show of support.

On June 25, DAA of Huntsville hosted a charity auto auction at their newly renovated auction site with proceeds of over $100,000 benefiting both the Heart of the Valley YMCA and Best Buddies of Madison City Schools.

The Heart of the Valley YMCA Early Childhood Education Program serves families with state-licensed, quality child care and Alabama First Class Pre-K education through three Early Childhood Education Centers. Because of the generous support of our partners including Dealers Auto Auction of Huntsville, Landers McLarty Subaru, and CHASE CARS INC, the Y is able to provide low-cost child care to financially hurting families working jobs or working to complete their education.
