At Heart of the Valley YMCA, we believe that our communities are stronger when everyone feels welcome and we work together for the common good. Our annual Welcoming Week is a special time we take to focus on inclusiveness, celebrate diversity, and demonstrate belonging in our Ys.

This year, our Welcoming Week celebration will be a little different, and instead of hosting in-branch events, we have put together family-friendly activities that will help foster YMCA values of caring and respect for others. Our theme is "Creating Home Together," and we will focus on what it means to call somewhere home. We can all create homes that are inclusive and welcoming to everyone, no matter where they are from.

You can find activities on our Welcoming Week web page here and listed below. We would love to see your celebrations, so please hashtag your social posts with #WelcomingWeek #CreatingHomeTogether #HeartoftheValleyYMCA.
