Do you need a Goldilocks challenge? You know, where the weather is always perfect and the distances are just right? The Mash, Splash & Dash Indoor Mini-Triathlon at the Southeast Family YMCA is made for you!

Participants may be novices or advanced, youth or masters, and everyone in between. Individuals may bike, swim and run solo, or families and friends can create teams and split the challenges. This is the fifth year for the indoor triathlon, and participation continues to grow each year. Everyone who registers will receive a T-shirt at the event.

Beginners will swim 12 lengths in the pool, ride five miles on a spin bike and run one mile on the treadmill. Advanced will swim 24 pool lengths, bike 10 miles and run three miles.

Youth will have shorter distances, and youth who are too short for the spin bikes will participate in a Duathlon event (swim and run). For all details, download a brochure.

Awards will be distributed to the best times in each category, too! Age group winners will receive medals, and trophies will be awarded to each team or family that competes in the Team category! Categories are:

  • Beginner Male & Female
  • Advanced Males & Females
  • Teams
  • Youth 7-9 and 10-12
  • Adults 14 and under, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+.
